Time is a Circus

February is already halfway gone, and when David and I look at our agendas, we realize that time is moving quickly and soon we will be "married" again and on our way to Canada ! As our future in Quebec comes closer and closer, our hearts are filled more and more with excitement and anticipation !
In the past two months, David and I have been planting long-term roots in our relationships here in Switzerland, connecting with people, sharing our heart and plans for Canada, and enjoying the gift of friendship ! This brings joy to our very relational hearts, and we find incredible value in fostering unity and fellowship with others in our lives.
Other than those relationships, our investments in the community here have been rather limited, due to the temporary nature of our stay. Because we are both "doers," and enjoy having projects to invest in, this has been a frustration for us -- but we realize that we are investing in things that affect our future as well, and we are learning that "there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens" (Ecclesiastes 3:3).
David continues to work in Lausanne, we are putting the finishing touches on our second wedding, I have been making progress in French, and we are finalizing the preparations for our move to Canada. Last week we were able to spend two days in Italy, visiting the village where the Therisod family originated and spending quality, restful time together.
We rejoice to have our second wedding, and finally to depart for Canada and establish ourselves in the community there ! Thank you so much for your prayers and support. Our current prayer requests are:
-finances for Canada (we must have proof of adequate monetary support upon entry in the country).
-continued grace as we prepare our wedding
-for the ability to root ourselves and our marriage in the Lord day-by-day, no matter how many things are crowding our minds !
