Rain, rain come today

Wash all of this snow away !

We have had multiple SNOW showers in April, but no rain ...it would seem that nature doesn't want spring to arrive as much as we do !

Tribu Enflammée: Our first two "Tribe on Fire" Family Day events were a success ! The vision for this project is to strengthen families, help them live their faith together, and encourage them to be a blessing to those around them. Our first theme was serving the Lord as a family, the second was focused on forgiveness, and during the next family day at the end of the month, we will be learning what it means to love God and love others.

Easter Sunday: Christ is risen ! David, Jude and Elise had the joy of celebrating Jesus' resurrection through music, as we led worship at church in the morning, and performed during the dinner concert at La Petite Cuillère. We are far from professional, and there are many who have better voices and are more skilled with instruments than we are, but music is a passion of ours and we are grateful to have the opportunity to use it in ministry. Our desire is simply to glorify the Lord and bless others ! (the photo doesn't do David much justice, but it is the best one we have ;-)

Visits: We are so thankful for our friends and family who have taken time (and paid the travel fees) to come and visit us ! Since January, we have had the privilege of spending time with family, godparents, and good friends, many of whom brought cheese and chocolate, and all of whom brought lots of joy, great conversation, and refreshment !

Provision Compassion: There have recently been some new developments with our involvement at Provision Compassion (PC). Over the past few months, we have had a number of disagreements with the leadership regarding various issues. A few weeks ago, David realized that this had a considerable effect on him, and his heart was no longer in the right place to serve with the ministry. After much reflection and prayer, we have decided that it is no longer productive, neither for David nor for the ministry, that he continue to work at PC, at least for the time being. Thus, David is withdrawing from his involvement and Elise will continue to serve during the food distribution on Thursday afternoons. We have maintained a good relationship with the leaders of PC, we continue to believe in their mission, and we will see what God has in store for us and our partnership in the future !

Chez Daveli: We have had a total of seven couples come to our restaurant ministry, and we are excited by the positive feedback we've received ! The goal now is that those who have come and lived the experience would spread the word to other couples who may benefit from an evening of quality time together.

Prayer requests:

- That the word about Chez Daveli would spread to those couples that God wants to bring.

- That we would find a solution for Jude's eczema.

- For wisdom as we prepare our trip to Switzerland next month.

- That God would increase our love for this region, and that our desire to see His gospel spread would grow !

- That those who come to our "Tribe on Fire" days would see God at work in their families.

As always, thank you for your prayers !
